The [ITA Matrix](https://matrix.itasoftware.com/) is software developed by MIT scientists in 1996, and acquired by Google in 2010. Its purpose is to find the cheapest flights. It's not a very user-friendly engine in comparison to what uses it (Google Flights, Orbitz, etc), but using it can give you super customizable results.
